3daysofdesign

Copenhagen makes sense to us as a place to spend three days looking at design. The appeal of 3daysofdesign is how naturally the exhibitions sit within the city: you move between showrooms and galleries, then step outside and keep noticing things. A chair in a café or the proportions of a doorway can hold your attention just as easily.

We like the festival’s informal atmosphere and the opportunity to speak directly to the people behind the pieces. There is room to ask about a material, look at a detail again and understand why it matters. That is the pace we want from Copenhagen. A few thoughtful appointments, time on foot between them, and a conversation that is allowed to run longer than planned.
