Jnane Rumi
A garden house with art at its heart
Jnane Rumi gives art the space to be lived with. Within a house whose renovation honours Charles Boccara’s architecture, contemporary North African and European work sits alongside local craft, vintage pieces and the lushness of an established garden.
The collection, curated by Samy Snoussi, brings together artists including Mous Lamrabat, Amina Agueznay and Louis Barthélemy, with frescoes by Roberto Ruspoli. The range matters: it gives the house more than one visual voice and invites a slower, more curious kind of looking.
Beyond the rooms, palms, terraces and the pool extend that sense of discovery outdoors. For us, Jnane Rumi makes a particularly strong connection between travel and creative life. It offers a reason to look closely at the place you are staying, and an introduction to artists whose work you may want to follow home.
